First and foremost: The dark cloud is perfectly done and I love the drops! Then second but very important: It is difficult to share any depression info, because most people expect us to always be happy sunshiny kind of people. In particular us, the bakers of the world ( don’t we spread happiness with our cakes?) Thank you for sharing it makes you more human to me. ;)

Thank you Shannon for sharing your story. I hope that you will always have light in your life and that you will be able to reach other people who have suffered like yourself. I only wish I could have helped my brother-in-law. Your cake is beautifully thought out and sensitively done. Xxoo

Amazing Shannon. Thank you for sharing your own personal struggle so as to help others suffering in a similar way. It’s A_M_A_Z_I_N_G!!!!! I suffered from depression in the past 4 years and i remember that in my mind was deeply engraved a sort of dark rainy cloud…i could never see a ray of sunshine…it represents perfectly the “mood” and feelings of a depression disorder. Great job!
