Wow, thank you all. Was not expecting such a response. As far as a tutorial, I didn’t even think of doing one. I do have one saved that was pretty close to how I did it. If anyone wants to try it, here it is: http://www.liveinternet.ru/users/slasha/post199427133

Thank you all so much. I really appreciate your comments.

Beautiful job Goreti! Is mums short for chrysanthamums? Checked out the link, what language is it in.
You are brilliant at flowers! :-)

Beautiful!

Yes Kath, it is short for chrysanthemums. I believe the tutorial is in Russian. I have tutorials in all sorts of languages on my Pinterest board. You can usually figure it out just by the pictures and I usually use them only as a reference. Thank you so much for your comment. I’ve always wanted to make gumpaste flowers and now it is my favorite thing to do. It is what got me into cake decorating even if it is just for family.

They’re beautiful Goreti!’ xx

Your flowers always amaze me Goreti! So beautiful! You are the queen of flower making, and most impressive is that you don’t use cutters for most of them!

Great job Goreti! I thought at first only the deep orange one was a gumpaste mum, featured against a backdrop of real mums, then realized they were all gumpaste. Even more amazing that you did it without the tutorial. =D

Beautiful!!!

Thank you all so much!
@Gulnaz, for the orange one, I mixed some fairly bright pink leftover fondant that I had with my gumpaste and then added a little orange & brown. Then I dusted the tips with sunflower yellow. For the inner petals, I mixed up orange/red & brown until I was happy with the color. As far as the other two, I don’t even remember. They were the first ones I did.

Gorgeous!!!
