This cake was made for the San Diego Cake Show 2012 that took place this past weekend. This 5 tier cake was covered in fondant and then 2 layers were wrapped in custom design printed wafer paper with edible gold leaf accents. Also large handmade rice paper flowers loosely based on dahlias, roses & ranunculus. It placed 2nd in its division.

I saw your cake at the competion on Sunday, and it was even more stunning in person! You are so talented! It was my first time attending a competion and I was so inspired by all the talent I saw there. It was also my first time competing and I was so surprised and excited that I took 2nd in my category as well!
