Two peas in a pod cake for a mum to be having twin boys. I loved every minute of making this cake and I was so pleased with the way it all came together. It was almost painless!
The bottom tier is quilted with the Patchwork Cutters Diamond Side Embosser (available from Global Sugar Art).
The plaque is made with an Orchard Products Plaque Cutter, also from Global Sugar Art and Block Alphabet Tappits from Amazon.
The two peas topper is modeled from Wilton fondant and is based on baby shower stationery by The Rosemary Company.
The cake is covered with ganache and then Satin Ice fondant. All other decorations are modeled from Wilton fondant.
The board is covered with scrapbook paper and contact paper following a tutorial by Peggy Does Cake that you can find here.
