David Essex birthday cake

Paul’s wife Christine has a thing for David Essex – (as many of us girls of a certain age did in the 70’s including me!).
There was a weekly magazine in those days called ‘JACKIE’ and he was often featured in it.
We would spend our pocket money on it so we could swoon over him and the other pop stars.
And I know many of us looked forward to seeing if he was in the middle pages so we could take the staples out and blue tack the poster on our bedroom walls.
Thank you Paul, for asking me to make this and taking me back to the good old days.

Oh, and she also likes Football too, particularly Aston Villa.

Thank you ladies xxxxx Yes I had posters of David Essex and Cassidy too all over my bedroom walls and when I ran out of room on the walls I stuck them on the ceiling too!! My Dad went mad, got me into a lot of trouble that did…. haha xxx
