I feel privileged to have made my first wedding cake (and first wired sugar flowers) for two wonderful gents, who were married in the US & celebrating here with their Irish friends & family today. This is particularly special for me as today we are also voting for LGBT people in Ireland to enjoy the same marriage rights and protection under the constitution as heterosexual couples. I’m off now to vote yes for equality & hope to see a more inclusive Ireland tomorrow when the votes are counted 😊

I wish I lived south of the border so I could vote yes too! I love this cake and I LOVE that it was made in the spirit of inclusivity. A bright clean wedding cake for a bright new world! 😊 xx
