This Wedding cake was my tallest cake to date. Inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s with a black, white and red theme.
Sophie the Bride, and her Mum Linda came to visit me with a strong idea of what they wanted for their Wedding.
And as they have a Dutch connection in the family , tulips were chosen to give the Monochrome look a classy sophisticated finish and a flourish of black Ostrich feathers perfectly finished off the design.
All the tulips are hand made and wired. And the little vase and tulip arrangement in the centre column are handmade using flower paste too.
Sophie and Shaun were married on 31st October, so this was a Halloween Wedding with a sophisticated difference.
(But as you will see from the last photo…………we had a little bit of fun with the Grooms cake).
I was so proud and privileged to be asked to attend this Wedding. A very special Wedding, for a very special couple. And the day was perfect day in every way.
Congratulations Sophie and Shaun……
I wish you health – (and here’s to lots more of it), wealth, and most of all happiness xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
