Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea

This was a 90th birthday cake for a lady that enjoys her afternoon tea. It was the first time I`ve used a mould (for the biscuit) and it was surprisingly easy….felt like I was cheating! Although when I was making biscuit crumbs for the broken biscuit I used `crumbs` of icing….which is bizarre, as I happily used grated custard cream biscuits for `sawdust` on another cake! Go figure!

Fantastic creation… So perfect

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Oh this is gorgeous – love it all. I think I might feel like I was cheating a little bit if I used a mould too but how difficult would a custard cream be to do without one?!!! The effect is wonderful though- it looks so real. On the basis of this cake alone, I am now following you – I like you already! :-D
