I was given free rein with this cake and simply asked for something girly with the baby’s name and birth date on it.

Owls seem really popular at the moment so I thought I would use that as the theme.

This is beautiful! What did you make the owl out of? Just fondant or gumpaste or did you use rkt?

Hi there! The owl is made from fondant mixed with CMC powder to stiffen it slightly :)
