Last year (when I was still pretty new to cakery) a friend asked me to make her wedding cake and yesterday was the big day. This 3 tier cake, comprising 10" fruit, 8" and 6" vanilla sponge was the result. 40 cupcakes also accompanied the cake in vanilla and lemon flavours.
