Lego Birthday Cake for Twin Boys

Cake by rooneygirl posted 387 days ago 1269 views 0 times favorited 2 comments Add to Favorites

This cake was for twin boys who love legos. I used all fondant to cover the cake, including the lego blocks made out of fondant using a silicone ice cube tray as a lego mold. The lego boys are completely hand sculpted out of fondant. The cake is a 10” and 6” tier. www.facebook.com/rooneygirlbakeshop

So cute… I was just asked to make a Leggo cake and since I don’t have a mold for the little leggo pieces, I’ll be making them by hand – I thought of using mini-marshmallows, cutting them in half to make the round tops and covering them in fondant (same color as the block) – I think that will work just fine.

I’m sure the little boy was very happy with your cake!
