how did you get your ruffles to flair out? did you use toothpick under each layer until they dried?

Hi Traci, thanks for your question. If you are referring to my ruffle cake, I used a 50/50 gumpaste/fondant amd I frilled the ends and applied to the cake from top to bottom and I kept the ruffles propped up with bits of paper towels rolled up. Hope that helps and thank you for asking.
