A pair of fruit cake shoes for the village charity run and cycle at the weekend (The Houghton Trail). These were raffled individually along with a fruit cake helmet. I have put together a tutorial for these. Here is the link: http://cakesdecor.com/entries/1276-making-running-shoe-cakes
Why orange shoes and bright yellow board? I was inspired by the colours of the Adidias shoes that the Kenyans were wearing in the London Marathon. For this pair, I downloaded an image of orange Asics shoes which I used as my guide to make these and modified the design.
Thank you for looking!
