Last December, I decided to try painting on fondant icing after coming across the gorgeous ‘stained glass’ paintings by Kevin Chua. I made a few plates out of fondant, and let them dry for a week before painting them with edible gel colours. I think these plates will make an excellent topper for a mother’s day or for 20th anniversary.
