My niece celebrated her 1st birthday yesterday! I made her a double chocolate cake with raspberry american buttercream and matching cupcakes. The bottom tier was covered in fondant ombre ruffles to resemble her tutu. The top tier was removed to serve as her smash cake, complete with royal icing tiara.
