I started piping frosting and baking cakes when I was 10 years old. 4-H was where I began challenging myself to produce top cake work and mastering decorating skills! During my teenage years, I pursued professional cake baking/decorating for weddings, birthdays, holidays, etc. I adored it! It opened to me a world of culinary creativity!
I love cooking, baking, designing recipes, hosting, and making people happy with food. Whenever I cook or bake, I spend time researching and comparing recipes and obsessing over the best way to make something. I adore authentic and traditional pastries, breads, and dishes including French, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Czech, Thai.... The list is endless!
