Firstly, you will have to refridgerate your cake as icing has cream cheese in it. You shouldn’t have any trouble colouring the icing. I would place your figurine on a circle of gumpaste, as it will sit easier on top of your iced cake, won’t sink in. Place your figure on the cake after your cake is removed from the fridge and has reached room temperature before delivery.
