If that doesn’t work:
This has happened to me too – when I used Americolor. When I use Wilton, the fondant can be exposed to sunlight without the red disappearing. BUT: The purples available in my country from Wilton are kinda gray, so I blend in some extra pink, and voila! – a “durable” and deep purple.
PS: I don’t know if this is important or not, but I only use homemade MMF.
