re: Airbrushing to make a black cake

Hi Sharon,

I use my airbrush a lot especially for dark colours. I airbrush straight on white icing rather than colouring the icing at all (in my cake album the dragon was white before I airbrushed as was the car) . Highly recommend Dinkydoodle airbrush paints. I use her airbrush and paints as they cover well and I can layer light colours over dark colours. There is a black matt, black pearl and black (which dries shiny) depending on what look you want. I don’t think you would need more than one bottle of airbrush colour from Dinkydoodle, but can’t comment on other makes as I have never used anything different.
