I love my cricut..I do not use it often but when I do it surely pays off. I will say getting the exact depth of your fondant or gumpaste is a must and you may have to expreiment a couple of times depending on how big or small your lettering etc is but to me the few things I have to do are worth it for me to be able to do the shadow effects and such that otherwise would take so much longer to do. I would not pay full price however …make sure you have a coupon or get it on sale. To me in this business $50-$100 for a piece of machinery that might help is worth it but then I guess it depends on how often you are going to use it.
