I did what you said and packed all the flowers on plastic bags in a big box, they were all fine. The gumpaste just went a bit soft because of the humidity, but no breakages. It took me about 40 mins to put them on the cake, with straws and some single ones on cocktail sticks. I’ll probably find out what the bride thought tomorrow, she’s a good friend and lucky her she’s going on a cruise in a few days!!! I could do with that after all the stressing. Haha.
