Thanks, June. I contacted the company I purchased the fondant from and the owner who is also a pastry chef will refund the amount of the purchase – he was very gracious and we brainstormed as to the possible reasons for the mishap, but Couldn’t figure out what happened… The fondant still has 3 months left before the Best Use By date. Oh, well!
