Hi Sherry, sorry I do not have all the answers for you.
Speaking from a personal perspective… a couple of years ago I had health issues and I spent hours and hours on CD following 100’s of people.
More recently my life has been able to take on new ventures… and the time available for CD and other social platforms has decreased.
In order to find balance, I choose to “follow” people that are interactive with me and my work. Kind of like in real life… you reserve time for those that make time for you.
Having said that, I do “like” and “fave” cakes by people that are not on my “follow” list… particularly those that make it to home page, that I admire.
Occasionally if I have more time, I will scroll through the many pages of cakes that have been posted, but this is patchy, depending on how much time I have.
In addition, CD is a place where the members are your peers, so you cannot expect to have 1000’s of followers, as you might in an open public platform like FB.
I can see from your activity log, in the past 12 months you have posted 12 cakes and this post, but not left a comment or faved any work of others.
Your work appears to be very well done, maybe a bit more interaction could be key in achieving the results that you would like.
