Good Luck with your competition Lori! I am myself going into one in 2 weeks time! gulp I have been told by a friend who is going to another one and knows some people that doing extra tall/ extended tiers do not give you any extra points despite them being more difficult to do. As long as you craftily disguise the joint either by smoothing it or decorating it there shouldn’t be any problems with panelling. What I have been told is to read entry rules many times and ask if something is vague. Also that depending on the category, the more techniques you use the more points you’ll get!!! Good Luck!
