I’m not a professional but I recommend starting with the Wilton classes at the local craft store. They are inexpensive & teach you the basics. Thee are 4 courses – once a week for 4 weeks for each course. You can sometimes make good contacts & friends there. I did. Make sure you sign up for emails to get coupons for the store(s) in your area. You Tube offers lots of tutorials. Edna delaCruz at DesignMeACake.com & she is a Wilton instructor! If you can’t take a class, look through the tutorials on her page as well as Wilton.com. I would say that’s a good start.
