re: I Need Edible Printer Calibration Help

Hi Jennifer,

Not sure if you solved this issue but it can be quite hard to get the edible image colours perfect. Since edible inks are, in simple terms, a type of food colouring, the prints will never truly match that of regular inks, but you can get it close. A couple of quick pointers:

1. Printer Settings: with a bit of trial and error you can match the colours pretty closely. Go into the printer property setting (Print> Properties > Main > Color/Intensity > Manual> Set) and you can test out the print colours there.
2. Ink supplier: some edible inks are really not good quality, make sure you are using an established and well reviewed supplier – we don’t sell them ourselves but we are happy to point you in the right direction.

We’ve actually written a blog post about these colour and shade issues, so if you are still facing issues feel free to check it out at: http://topperoo.com/blog/how-to-solve-edible-ink-issues

Thanks
