Hi Michelle, I’ve just recently purchased the new Kenwood mixer,( i can tell you which model if you are interested ) i looked at both the kenwood and Kitchen aid mixers, although i love the look of the Kitchen Aid i found the Kenwood better suited for making sponge batter and buttercream, before i got my new Kenwood i had an old Kenwood from 1976! i was shocked to learn it was as old as me !! lol
but now i have the new Kenwood its quieter, more powerful and whips buttercream amazingly, maybe its me going from such an old machine to a spanking new one but i love it.
