I have found that a 4 torte cake with filling tends to make smaller slices so you can use Wilton’s chart and then add 25%. Wilton’s chart specifically states that it’s for a two-layer cake. Another thing that my wife would do is print out the cake slice pattern and bring it with her to weddings and parties so she could show the host(ess) the best way to cut the cake.
