That’s great news Sally Jane! I will offer one word of warning about your book / portfolio.

There used to be this cute little place in the mall called Club Libby Lu. They ha lots of little girls birthday parties there and I was making cakes all the time when I first started out. I put a lot of time into making a scrapbook of my previous cakes and they graciously agreed to let it stay there. About once a month I would grab it and a few pages to it. Once I went in to add to it and the staff said “Oh, your employee stopped by a few days ago and took it”. Employee? I don’t have any employees!! Yep, someone came in and STOLE my book! I don’t know why, but they did.

Moral of the (longer than I expected) story? Make sure the staff knows that no one leaves with the book except YOU.
