I have made one with the Wilton pan. The top half did seem to be done sooner, but it tasted great. Maybe fill the top pan a little fuller than it says and then cut off the excess. That way maybe it won’t be too dry. I can’t recall how many servings we got, but it is a funny shape to try to cut. I would maybe suggest that they have a cake underneath for cutting servings out of (if they need a lot). It probably had 10 servings but like I said I can’t recall exactly. People took some home.
