At a very young age, I fell in love with cooking and baking, I have been baking for as long as I can remember... I think the first thing I ever baked was an apple pie with my grandma, she taught me a lot... And I try to incorporate all of her tips and trade secrets with everything that I make now... But I had the need for more information, so in 2005 I put myself through ICE (a culinary school here in NYC) and took their Culinary Arts program (with only a small part for the basics of baking), and when I was finished I kicked myself in the butt cause now I wanted to go back for the Bakery diploma....
Well, since I didn't have the money at the time, I took what they taught me and put it with a lot of research, and now I can say that I am pretty good at my job...
I love everything sweet, but my favorite is Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate ganache filling and chocolate frosting...! Top that with some homemade fondant and a few pretty toppers and I am a happy girl...!
Well, let's get back to business... I have been doing cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc for all of my friends private events, and decided to start a business or of it... I am taking my time so I can get it all right the first time, and I am loving every minute of it.
