I've been so passionate about baking and cake decorating since forever. I've always found it so therapeutic working with batter or dough. I decided to start my baking business, Sweet Spot Eg, in March 2017 after baking and decorating a special birthday cake to one of my friends to celebrate their birthday. It all started from there! People at the party got impressed with both the design and taste of the cake. So, I jumped at the opportunity and began to watch many online tutorials to develop my skills further.

Being a self-taught baker isn't easy at all, but it's worth the struggle. After 5 years of trial and error, lots of experiments to perfect recipes, sleepless nights, exhausting times, failures, success and happy moments, I can say I'm proud that I took this step back in 2017 and that I'm still persisting to keep going from good to better. I can also say I've come to a point where I feel confident enough about my baking and decorating skills, yet I'm still thriving to learn more because there's always room for improvement no matter how skillful one is

Finally, I just need to shed some light on the main purpose of my business. It's to make people happy! It's a priceless moment every time I deliver an order and watch people's happy reactions. I truly believe that if people enjoy good desserts, this will enhance their mood, and as a consequence, this will really make their days better
