I have been making fun cakes for birthdays and other celebrations for at first my children as they where growing up, and then friends and family as I became more confidant.
I have recently taken the plunge and left my full time employment as a chef and now work for myself full time, I combine my two great loves, baking and art, With the other great love of my life my partner Ian. Who with his amazing support has helped me grow with confidence and made me see that what I have to offer is a special gift. He has trained well in the cake world that is ours and has become partner in the business. We Converted our garage into a commercial kitchen and started "Lovemuffins by Clair".
Our lovely "Cottage Business" is in the beautiful seaside town of Brixham, Devon in the South of England. We make beautiful bespoke Wedding cakes and celebration cakes, individually designed with love and care and with a strong attention to detail. All of our art work is hand drawn as we dislike the use of photo copies.
We also provide a catering service and supply cafes with our bakes and deserts, we do food markets and festivals too, so quite literally we have many fingers in many pies (pardon the pun), but our greatest pleasure is making art with amazing flavours.
