I started playing with cake toppers near the end of 2012 when my daughter turned 1. I didn't make her cake however, I had a friend who makes fantastic cakes do it, and after seeing how fantastic it was I just had to give it a go.
I mostly enjoy making cake toppers, though I have attempted a few cakes when the receiver has begged. My cakes so far seem to always have issues :-), I'll keep trying.
Designing, making and then finishing cake toppers is a hobby I extremely enjoy, every part of the process is exciting. I have seen many amazing cake toppers on this site and others and only hope one day I can do works of art like those...
