Help please

Hi, my name is Meg and I’m from Bournemouth England. I am just trying to launch my own business ‘Nanny Cakes Creations’ having made cakes for my children, grand children and friends and colleagues over the years.
I made my first paid for wedding cake for a friend and colleague this weekend, it was scary, making it not the cake lol. Am currently designing a logo and card but need to sort a fb page and website, so any help and advice would be greatfully received.
I also saw a large clear his on this site somewhere, used to store a 4 tier wedding cake on a 25" board but cannot find it now, idea from Ace of Cakes. I have searched everywhere to buy something like this, unsuccessfully, if anyone knows where I can get one please let me know, thanks.

Are you talking about “Cake Safe” that is used to transport large cakes?
If so, just google “cake safe”.

Starting with FB page is always easier to get you going , Wix meant to do nice and easy to make websites. Also did you consider using google ads ? I think they give you something like £120 credits when you first start ( it’s where your website appears as ‘sponsored’ on top of the search in the area you set , and yo pay for click. It’s quite a small investment and bound to get you started especially if you are willing to fulfil last minute orders. All the admin is a huge time commitment , but none is impossible, especially this day and age so don’t be scared of it if you are determined, good luck

Garden Baker, wow they are amaizing but way too expensive for me just now. I actually meant a clear plastic clip lid storage box that would surfice in the interim but Can’t find one the right shape, wondered if anyone used one and where I could get it. Thanks though.

Cold Porcelain Flowers, thank you, that info is amaizing. In process of designing a card, then getting together a few good pics to start off a fb page. Then going to start on instagram, it’s all very daunting as you say but I am very determined. Might change my name though as thoughts are it implies I’m an old lady making old fashioned cakes! What do you all think? Thanks

I like your name, but it does sound “grandma-ish” ….. not that that is a bad thing!
