How to Make a STRING OF PEARLS SUGAR SUCCULENT with FLOWERS

When I came upon an image of a String of Pearls Variegated Succulent with Flowers I knew I had to attempt to recreate them in sugar – this is that attempt. As with perhaps many sugar creations, not just sugar succulents, this gumpaste creation really comes alive with the dusting – three ways based on three different sugar pearl color bases. The succulent flowers use both gumpaste and white sewing threads based on the type of flower – a bud, a blooming flower, and the full blooming succulent flower version. As with the pearl succulents, your sugar flowers will also come alive with the dusting and coloring.
