I’m so excited about the new Finding Dory movie, so today I’m going to show you how to create this awesome looking watercolor stained glass window cake featuring none other than Dory herself!!

It’s a super quick & easy cake to whip up and once you learn the technique you can create all sorts of wonderful designs. This technique is especially great for a Finding Dory cake as it gives that nice watery/ocean effect!

Materials used for the Dory Stained Glass Window cake:
a 2 tier cake, I used a 6" & 8" pre-covered with white fondant
black royal icing (I used pre-made Queen Royal Icing and added Queen Black Gel Food Colour)
Piping bag fitted with a #2 Wilton tip
1 drop of Gel Food Colouring ( I used Queen Gel Food Clours in red, yellow, blue and green)
Rose Spirits
Paint brushes
1 sheet of paper towel
