I don’t have an edible printer so I wanted to try my hand at painting wafer paper with abstract colors so that I have infinite possibilities to decorate cakes and cupcakes.
Water will ruin wafer paper so I used a clean :) ear bud to mix three Wilton colors to randomly paint the wafer paper. You can also use a paint brush.
This is what I made.
As you can see, the back of the paper isn’t wet and the colors don’t seep through. You must let it dry for ATLEAST 36 hours.
I’m using two sizes of petal leaves.
Trace on the back of the dry wafer paper and cut out carefully.
My beautiful petals ready to be used on a cake :)
