Equipment needed:
-Tappits cutters (available in a range of sizes, shapes and fonts)
-Create-a-cake sugarpaste (non-stick)
-Petal base
-Non stick rolling pin and board
Roll out sugarpaste.
This is the thickness recommended with sugarpaste. Create-a-Cake sugarpaste can be rolled thinner than other brands.
Smooth a small amount of petal base onto the sugarpaste. This will prevent the sugarpaste from sticking to the cutter.
Cut the sugarpaste into strips that suit the size of your cutter.
Press the cutter firmly onto the sugarpaste. Wiggle the cutter slightly to ensure you get a clean cut.
Lift the cutter and smooth any frayed edges.
Hold one end of the cutter firmly on your work surface, bend the other end back slightly and release.
The top of the Tappit will hit the work surface and release the sugarpaste.
