This is a record-short tutorial, but I thought I’d share it with you. Drying out gumpaste tiaras can be tricky since you want a concave shape. So, I found a very easy way. Here’s how:
Materials: drying rack; styrofoam glass
Cut two slits on the styrofoam glass and insert it onto the drying rack – it fits nice and snuggly. Then place your gumpaste tiara on top of the glass and let it dry. It will hold a beautiful shape and the glass won’t move at all. This can be used for other figures.
Try it… you’ll like it :))))

Wonderful! Thanks for the tip – I always try to find random things to hold shapes for me and none of them work well – this is great!
Great thanks for sharing x
clever :)
It wont stick? I need to make one (tonight) and i was going to use an old satin ice white tube that I have and cover it with parchment paper.
As your gumpaste starts to dry to the touch, you need to nudge it a little bit just to loosen it up – but it definitelly won’t stick. I use this method all the time! Good luck – post pictures – :))))
