Hi Mchenier! I’ve done drop strings on cream cheese twice and both times the cakes stayed at my house. I would never ever do it on a client cake or it would fall off. I used royal because you can’t pipe strings with cream cheese icing. This was just a very fast way to decorate the carrot cake I had made for our Easter dinner. :o)
