Hi Christine, i am new to the baking world and would like some advice, i am wanting to make my own wedding cake for september. I can’t afford to buy one as they are very expensive. The advice i am after is what type of sponge should i be looking for to make and how much in advance can i make it. I would really appreciate any advice you can give me. Oh and would it be a good idea to practice the decoration on a dummy cake. Sorry for prattling on im just so eager to get started. Kind regards Tracy
