I baked this in a Pyrex bowl (it was only the second cake I’d ever made so had no cake pans!) – it’s 8" in diameter and 4" high. I carved it a little to get the right shape using my son’s army helmet as a guide.
I’m sure you don’t need any help, but if I can tell you anything else, let me know. I remember writing up the camouflage fondant technique for someone else, so I can find that if it’s useful.
