Thank you both. I was pretty excited with the finish on the buttercream. Still struggle getting SMBC smooth and I think this is the smoothest I have gotten it. The funny thing is that I made this late last night and was already tired. Only when I finished the SMBC did I realize that I had not changed to the paddle when I added the butter so I thought it would only go downhill from there but it went pretty well.
