ArtofCakeNY, I think I have a few progress pics from when I put the cake together. I’ll see what I can find. Yes, there is internal structure support. I used a support that ran straight through the board and up through the top of the bottom sphere. I made sure that the support dowel (in my case, a threaded rod) was about 2 inches taller than my sphere. This way, dowel could extend into the bottom of the head. Does this make sense?
