I am so very glad you received the Gold award. It is well and truly deserved, this is just a stunning accomplishment.
I can particularly relate to how you feel because I had a similar experience of a competition entry damaged en transit which I was just going to turn around and take home but my husband persuaded me to get the stewardess to decide. Well it went in and it won to my amazement. Just a small show, not a prestigious event like CI.
