I’m so sorry for what happened! It’s a great cake!
It happened to me at Cake International 2013. My exhibit was damaged in transit (I’m from Portugal) and I couldn’t fix it the way I wanted on time so I decided not to enter. I was devastated! But I brought it back home hoping that I could fix it and enter with it one day. And I entered with it this year at Cake International Manchester. It got gold! :)
