A surprise for my friend and neighbor who is accomplishing something important tomorrow. This cake is chocolate sour cream cake with raspberry puree filling. Outside is American Buttercream (ala Peggy Does Cake) and I followed the awesome petal icing tutorial of Tea Party Cakes. Banner is constructed of lollipop sticks, craft paper and thin string. Owl topper is fondant. TFL!
