My wedding cake that i truly believed did not stand a chance of receiving anything at Birmingham cake international! But to my surprise it got awarded a certificate of merit! To me that is better than any gold as i have only been cake decorating a year and was the first to admit my entry was no where near the best at Birmingham but to be awarded for all my hard work means the world to me!
