I decided to make this cake as I really wanted to have a go at Brush Embroidery. I’d never tried it before but I’d read Eddie Spence’s book and I thought it looked so beautiful and effective. I was really pleased with the outcome. I finished it off by piping a border around the bottom of every tier and by adding some butterflies, dragonflies and Dahlia flowers.
